Lake Eland Game Reserve

Lake Eland Game Reserve is located in the magnificent Oribi Gorge. Covering an impressive 2500 hectares with diverse ecosystems of bushveld, grassland, coastal forest, wetland, and wild game, this natural landscape offers a place of peace and tranquility.

Accommodation is offered in the form of 2- 6 sleep self-catering chalets, a family home, a park home, camping and caravan sites as well as a uniquely-pipe-shaped cottage.

Panoramic views over the reserve are the highlight of the camping and caravan sites. They are in close proximity and convenient access to reception, the playground and the fishing dam are added features. The well-equipped sites feature a fixed braai and grid, electricity points and two ablution blocks. The campsites are separated by wooden partitions providing privacy from other campers without obstructing the views.

Activities to choose from include a self-guided game drive, viewing the abundant wildlife and flora which can be seen from the comfort of your car. Guests can walk across our 80m suspension bridge and get their hearts racing on our fabulous Zipline Tour. Other activities include horse riding, hiking, single-track mountain bike trails, paintball, fishing, picnic sites and 4×4 tracks.
