Palm Tree Lodge

The Palm Tree Lodge is set in the Northernmost part of the St Lucia Wetlands and bordering on the Green belt of the Maputuland Coastline. The resort offers it’s guests a true feeling of the African bushveld with a little bit of the tropics as it is inundated with fruit baring Coconut Palms during the summer months.

Accommodation includes 13 self-catering chalets and campsites with electricity,a braai area, scullery and water facilities at each site. Campsites 1-8 have shared ablutions, whereas campsites 9-16 each have their own private ablutions.

Palm Tree lodge is not short of activities, keeping the kids entertained for hours. There is a playground with trampolines, a games hall equipped with a ping pong table and pool table, there is also a swimming pool for cooling off on those hot summer days. The area is a fisherman’s paradise, or if you are more of a land dweller you can pack a lunch and jump in the 4×4 and head out to Tembe Elephant Park for some game viewing.
