22 Waterfalls

22 Waterfalls is a working farm situated at the foot of the Olifantsrivier Mountains about 4km from Porterville and 1.5hrs drive from Cape Town. It contains 67 camping stands broken up into different areas on the campground, as well as several self-catering chalets scattered around the farm.

22 Waterfalls private nature reserve has panoramic views overlooking the valley of Porterville and Piketberg in the Swartland, and the hiking trail takes you on a route past 22 waterfalls surrounded by indigenous fynbos, 47 indigenous trees. Wildlife like the Klipspringer, Cape Leopard, Ribbok can sometimes be spotted and there are many opportunities for bird watching on the way. The waterfalls are fed by springs all year round.
