Anchors Caravan Park

Anchors Caravan Park is an exclusive, quiet park with 26 stands and is situated inside a 24-hour secure resort, Anchors Aweigh Hibberdene. The park has spacious, level, grassed and shady sites,  each with water, electricity point and a braai. The ablution blocks are modern neat and kept clean.

Anchors is situated on the banks and mouth of the Mzimayi River, ideal for canoeing and fishing. The swimming beach is a safe short walk through the resort, crossing the suspension bridge and under the road onto the sands of this international blue flag beach, protected by shark nets and lifeguards.

The main beach has relaxing grass areas with shaded picnic spots, putt-putt, super-tube and a beach pup/restaurant. Recreational facilities include a swimming pool, childrens’ play park, large open grassed area for soccer, volleyball, etc. Hibberdine is famous for the sardine run, which starts any time May -July.
