Buccaneers Backpackers

Buccaneers Backpackers is a spacious and beautiful property situated along the banks of the Chintsa lagoon and offers a private beach access and short walk to the stunning Chintsa beach. They have cute self-catering cottages, cosy dorms, (most rooms with amazing views) and a magnificent campsite, all tucked discreetly into 8 hectares of lush indigenous forest.

The campsite consists of communal bathrooms, electrical connection points and water taps available in communal boma only, ample camping space, safe parking available, access to a communal kitchen. All Buccaneers facilities are available to campers, including the bar and restaurant. The site can accommodate overland trucks, vehicle rooftop tents, camper vans and camping tents, but unfortunately not caravans.

At Buccaneers you can partake in a large variety of activities, such as walks on the beach, dipping in the geometric rock pools, beach horse riding, canoeing on the lagoon, playing a round of golf next door, bird watching and more.
