De Bos Backpackers and Camping

De Bos is situated on a Pecan Nut farm in the heart of beautiful Montagu, just 190km from Cape Town. It is set in an exquisite location with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, famous for rock climbing. They offer a variety of accommodation, perfect for solo travellers as well as large groups.

The backpackers’ accommodation sleeps from 1 to 30 people and their large shaded campsites have fireplaces for barbecues, picnic tables and well-fitted bathrooms with hot and cold showers. There is also a shared kitchen for the backpackers and campsite with a double gas hob, a refrigerator and a scullery. They also have comfortable, child-friendly self-catering cottages that are privately situated on the farm.

There is a large refreshing swimming pool and a playground for the children too. On the farm, you can expect to find horses, ponies and donkeys, which are really popular with the kids. There is an abundance of bird life as well free-roaming peacocks and guinea fowl.
