De Hoop Nature Reserve

The De Hoop Nature reserve is situated in an ideal whale watching area, just 3 hours drive from Cape Town. There are 10 camping sites here that are very rustic. They are equipped with a braai and picnic tables. Here there is a lovely view over the lagoon, but you would come here for the wild activities. There are beautiful walks along the beach, or you can paddle along the river and lagoon, or take a guided walk to see the fauna and flora of this nature reserve and possibly encounter a variety of antelope.
