Nestled deep in the beautiful Champagne Valley, in the rugged heart of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains lies Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort, a thousand-acre wilderness estate bordering the Ukhahlamba World Heritage Site, the perfect venue for families, nature lovers, bird watchers, mountain bikers and mountaineers alike.

Dragon Peaks offers a wide range of accommodations to suit all tastes ranging from well-appointed self-catering units to caravan and camping sites, as well as numerous activities and easy access to the many hiking trails on the surrounding mountains.

The self-catering units are comprised of a selection of 2 to 12 sleeper self-catering units, fully equipped and all with TV.

The family-orientated campsite provides beautiful shady, grassed and paved sites, offering private ablution sites, with electrical points and three ablution facilities. Sculleries and coin-operated laundries are also provided for guests’ convenience.

Furthermore, the resort has a restaurant and pub, The Oaks superette, conference facilities and a picturesque island wedding venue.

For those seeking thrills, the resort has mountain biking tracks, helicopter rides, hiking trails, fishing, bird watching, a swimming pool, a games room and horse trails all operating from the estate.
