Dundee Battlefields Lodge

Dundee Battlefields Lodge is situated on a farm 18km from Dundee on the R33 to Vryheid, in the middle of the battlefields. It is in close proximity to renowned battle sites like Isandlwana, Rorke’s Drift, the Blood River monument, and the esteemed Talana Museum, rated as one of the best in South Africa.

The lodge offers a variety of comfortable accommodation options. With 70 air-conditioned, en-suite rooms, and a secure camping site you’ll find a peaceful retreat surrounded by immaculate lawns, gardens and game. Staying at the campsites you can feel safe and secure, as these grassed campsites are entirely fenced in with options for power. Camping guests have full access to the large clean ablution block and kitchenette.

Campers are also welcome to make use of all the facilities at the Lodge, the swimming pool and children’s play area to name a few and are welcome to book a table for our daily buffet breakfast and/or dinner.

Activities include fishing, game viewing, ostrich feeding, hiking in the natural bush surrounding the resort, relaxing in the library or splashing around in the lodge swimming pool.
