Gatsrivier Holiday Farm

Gatsrivier is located in the heart of the Karoo, alongside the Ongeluks River. Being situated far from city light pollution means that the night sky is bejewelled with millions of stars, forming a spectacular backdrop for the landscape’s unique rock formations. You can immerse yourself in nature here by making use of the various hiking and 4×4 trails, taking in the multitude of flora and fauna that is so indicative of Karoo landscape. Or simply spend your days cooling off in the nearby river or campsite splash pool. The private campsites have their own water tap and the ablutions offer gas-powered geysers. Rustic self-catering cottages are also available on the farm if camping in the Karoo is not to your liking.
