Glen Oakes Farm is located in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, which is an area renowned for its exquisite beauty. It is a 300 hectare working family farm, where luxury, rustic and cosy self-catering accommodation offers the best of the Overberg hospitality – birdsong, breath-taking views, crackling fires, squishy sofas, trickling streams and starry nights.

Accomodation includes a stone cottage, wooden cabin and an exclusive campsite. The campsite is rented to one group at a time – big enough to accommodate up to 30 persons, but charming enough for 2 persons to enjoy entirely on their own. It has clean flush toilets and hot showers, a lapa with braai grids and fire kettles. Firewood is provided and also available to purchase.

Glen Oakes ideal weekend getaway to get up close and personal with our gorgeous pasture-reared farm animals, sample ethical charcuterie, swim in crystal pools, mountain bike, hike, spot wildlife such as Blue Cranes and Bat-Eared Foxes, read a favourite book by the pool or explore the Valley’s award-winning seasonal fare, wineries and distilleries.
