Nestled within the breath-taking Groendal Wilderness Area, amidst the serenity of the wilderness, you’re invited to experience the essence of camping in its purest form.

The 6 secluded campsites are scattered amidst the dense forest along the Kwa-Zunga River, each one revealing a postcard-worthy view of the majestic Groot Winterhoek mountain range. For your convenience, there is a shared ablution block and a designated braai area, but do remember to bring your own wood to create those cozy campfire moments under the starlit sky.

While immersing yourself in the beauty of the Groendal Wilderness Area, you’ll discover a wealth of outdoor activities to indulge in. If you’re an angler at heart, cast your line into the river and enjoy some peaceful fishing. Please note that fishing requires a permit from the local municipality, so be sure to make the necessary arrangements beforehand.
