Kliphoek River Resort

Kliphoek River Resort is one of the oldest family farms on the West Coast. It has its own distinctive charm. It is situated in the heart of a bird sanctuary on the banks of the Berg River near Velddrif, only a short 1.5hour drive from Cape Town.

Accommodation includes well-equipped self-catering cottages located on the banks of the river, as well as an exclusive camping site, that will provide you and your family with lasting memories.

9 Camping sites are available and can fit a maximum of 8 persons per site. Each site has its own ablution facilities, which includes a toilet, shower, washbasin and an outside sink. Hot water is provided through the solar geyser. The camp sites are spacious and are fitted with a shade lapa’s (6m x 5.5m). Two outside electricity outlets and a movable braai makes for a great camping experience.

There is a lovely spot at the river’s edge where the campers can enjoy all the splendours that the Berg River has to offer. There is also a tennis court to be enjoyed for those who love the game.
