Mongoose Campsite

Tibani Nature Reserve is a 600-hectare reserve, 15km from Montagu. It offers guests accommodation in either a self-catering house or at a campsite, called Mongoose Campsite.

The campsite accommodates 6 guests and is ideal for nature lovers as it is very private and offers its own ablution facilities with a shower, washbasin and toilet.

Outside the ablution is washing up facilities with a sink. A gas geyser provides hot water and solar lights provide some lighting for the evenings. Access to free WiFi is available; however, there are no electrical points.

For those warm Karoo summer days, there is a farm dam to cool off in and during the chilly nights, guests can gather around the fire pit provided at the campsite.

Guests can explore the reserve on foot, mountain bike or follow the 4X4 route to the top of the mountain with its magnificent views.
