Mountain Splendour Eco Resort

Mountain Splendour offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit every family or group as well as the option to store your caravans or tents – ready for a quick weekend getaway! They are an ideal spot for a Drakensberg glamping, camping or self-catering holiday.

Choose your perfect site in the Champagne Valley – whether it is mountain views, morning sun, or a private ablution site they offer you something that will suit each camper’s needs. Campsites are equipped with a 15amp electricity supply, braai, shared tap and dustbin.

If you don’t have your own tent you can still enjoy the wonderful experience of camping by hiring a tent. Tents can be hired with a choice of beds (with linen provided) or foam mattresses that you bring your own sleeping bags for. Choose from a dome tent or safari-style tent.

Fully-equipped, pre-erected glamping tents are also on offer as well as 5 wooden cabins fitted with electric blankets, wood fire stoves and split aircon/heater units.

At Mountain Splendour you can enjoy a wide range of activities, such as tennis and volleyball, swimming in the pool, tea and scones served daily at 10am at the Barn, visiting with farm animals, hiking, mountain biking, board games, table tennis, darts and much more!
