Oribi Gorge

One of KwaZulu-Natal’s most spectacular natural settings, the scenic Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve lies some 2km inland from Port Shepstone, about 1h45m drive south of Durban. The Reserve lies snugly at the head of a magnificent river gorge lined with dense coastal bush and forests. It has an abundance of smaller game species, visitors have even reported seeing leopards.

There are 5 campsites with power points. Each campsite is suitable for tents or caravans for up to 6 people. The ablution facilities have hot and cold water with a common washing area.
