Populierbos

Populierbos is a secluded and private campsite located on a Protea farm just over 200km from Cape Town. The sound of a nearby waterfall will contribute to your relaxed and peaceful experience. Here you can enjoy an outdoor bath or shower in nature.

Camping accommodation consists of a self-catering cottage and 8 additional camping sites. The cottage has an open bedroom with only 3 walls, a double bed, an elegant tub with a view and a fireplace, giving you the sense of the most romantic outdoor experience of a lifetime. The latest addition is another small room built over the water stream with a double bed and 2 single bunk beds.

The campsites have 2 showers (one indoor and one outdoor), 1 bath, 2 toilets and braai facilities with limited wood provided. Additional wood can be bought on the farm.

There are also several other self-catering cottages on the farm if you are not a camper.

Local hiking trails will give you gorgeous views of this hide-away gorge and tractor rides up the mountain are a guest favourite.
