Campsite Overview

Porcupine Peak is nestled in the Koo Valley mountains as you descend the Rooihoogte pass. It is surrounded by 500ha of rugged Karoo rock and shale terrain with magnificent mountain vistas of the Langeberg Mountain range and indigenous Fynbos. A river lined with majestic old oak trees runs along the property with a perennial spring of bottling-quality water.

Accommodation includes various self-catering cottages accommodating between 2-4 guests, some of which have their own hot tub or dipping pool, a farmhouse that sleeps 12 and a newly built, private campsite with 8 sites and 2 fully-equipped caravans.

Activities include hiking, exploring the kloof, mountain biking and swimming. For groups, you can make-your-own pizza in their traditional pizza oven, go fruit picking or just soak up the magnificent surroundings.
