Porcupine Rest Camp

This is an out-of-the-way campsite, best accessed by off-road vehicles. It is ideal if you want to enjoy the quiet Karoo life with a real rustic, off-the-grid feeling. That said, Saturday nights are pizza nights at The Overland Bush pub, where you can play some pool with some ice-cold beers. The campsites have shaded plots, each with its own private shower and large braai area and water tap, and there is also a communal swimming pool at the reception. Pets are allowed one campsite at a time, there is no cell reception and wood is available to purchase from the office.
