Rooiberg Lodge

Rooiberg Lodge is located in the heart of the Klein Karoo, nestled in the foothills of the Rooiberg Mountains. It spans over approximately 14,000 hectares of fynbos and succulent Karoo. The lodge is situated in the Assegaay Bosch Nature Reserve, between Ladismith and Calitzdorp, 12km outside the charming village of Vanwyksdorp.

The lodge accommodation choices range from luxury cottages and loft rooms to grassy campsites,  the perfect spot to outspan for a few days. Pitch your tent on lush green lawns, light a fire under the abundant stars and make use of the well-appointed kitchen and ablution facilities.

On-site facilities include a swimming pool, a braai area, pets by arrangement, Wi-Fi, conferencing facilities and secure parking. On-site activities include bird watching, cycling, game viewing, mountain biking and swimming. The water on the farm is sourced from natural springs and is of the highest purity. The area is free of Malaria, Bilharzia and Yellow-fever.
