Skilpadfontein Campsite

Skilpadfontein is located just outside Rawsonville on the banks of the Bree River. Here, surrounded by vineyards, you will be captivated by stunning views of the Boland mountains.  There are plenty actives to partake in; such as swimming, walking, cycling, canoeing, hiking, fishing and braaing. There is plenty of shake covering the campground, however this also means not much grass leaving a sandy surface on which to pitch your tent. There are only 6 sites available, making it a quiet and intimate getaway. There is electricity as well as an established, rustic yet neat ablution block, as well as a kitchen nook with basin and work surface.
