Stanley’s Camping Grounds

Nestled beneath the shade of indigenous trees, Stanley’s Camping Grounds is located on a farm just 4km inland from the picturesque coastal village of Kenton-on-Sea in the Eastern Cape. The Sunshine Coast is a captivating destination for family holidays, offering a wide range of activities, including swimming, fishing, boat cruises, canoeing, horseback riding, hiking, kite surfing, bird watching, and leisurely days on the beautiful beaches.

The campsite itself provides a communal braai area and outdoor sinks for dishwashing. Clean ablution facilities with hot water showers and toilets ensure your comfort, and the site offers a safe and tranquil atmosphere. While tent sites do not have electricity, you are welcome to bring an extension cord to plug into one of the electrical outlets for purposes such as drying hair or charging a phone or battery.

For dining options, a popular restaurant is located on the site. Families with younger children will appreciate the swings, slide, trampoline, and playhouse. If you’d rather not pitch a tent, there are sleeping huts available for hire, each equipped with an electric light, fan, and plug point for added convenience.
