The unique venue offers the traveller an idyllic space to rest and then venture forth to explore colourful Calitzdorp. They offer self-catering campsites with electricity, water and braai areas, caravan stands, and spacious safari-style permanent tents with hotel quality beds and crisp white linen – sharing modern ablution facilities. The Station is five minutes walk from Calitzdorp centre, the Port Wine Capital of South Africa. It is an idyllic spot for campers, caravaners, and bikers. An oasis in Calitzdorp
A refurbished old railway station nestled in a kraans, with two working handcars! The beds in the tents are immaculate, the ablutions clean and ample. Best of all are the owners/hosts, who made sure we had everything we needed. We were six guys on a bike trip so great quality braai packs and a brandy special.
