Vaalwater Bush Camp

Vaalwater is the last stop before entering or after leaving the Baviaanskloof and is well-located as a base for day trips into the Kloof. The quiet peaceful surroundings with sounds of the karoo nightlife are perfect for exceptional evenings around the campfire under clear skies offering breath-taking views of the stars.

Vaalwater offers self-catering accommodation, alternatively you can enjoy camping under large old pear trees offering ample shade. The campsite has electricity and boasts about a newly constructed modern ablution block with lots of hot water on tap.

Guests are free to walk the various trails along the river courses, from bird watching to mountain biking to spotting different animals, such as game and farm animals. For the hot summer days, a renovated farm dam is the ideal place to splash and cool off.
