Vadersgawe Farm

Vadersgawe is a tranquil private luxury campsite less than 2 hours from Cape Town. Guests get exclusive use of a 750,000 cubic meter farm lake with crystal-clear water. They allow single bookings only – you book the entire site, no sharing with other parties.

The location is perfect for watersports adventurers and peace-seekers alike, the facilities and lake are nestled between the stone fruit orchards of El Cuesta, a 180-hectare working farm in the Warm Bokkeveld, just outside Ceres in the Western Cape.

The pristine lawn-covered camping terraces can accommodate 20 people, with ample electricity supply (including backup generator power), spacious and modern private ablution facilities and a fully equipped communal lake house (called the Lapa) providing enclosed kitchen, lounge, and indoor braai facilities, with stack doors that open onto a fire pit overlooking the lake.

With very little light pollution, the stars have rarely felt this close.
